Carolina BBQ Chicken

Grilling bone-in BBQ chicken is one of our favorite family traditions when the weather is nice, but this recipe can easily be achieved in the oven with great flavor as well. Yep! creator Wishbone developed his barbeque sauces over 50 years ago as an alternative to all the sugary sweet gooey barbeque sauces he could find on the market at the time. Whether you prefer tomato based or mustard based, we have wonderful BBQ sauces that will add great flavor to complement and enhance your chicken!

Serves 4

INGREDIENTS:

HOW TO MAKE THE MAGIC HAPPEN:

  • Marinate chicken for 2 hours, remove from marinade
  • Season with Yep! Shake Original to taste
  • Bake at 350 or grill for 25-35 minutes, brush with Carolina Red or Yeller Dog BBQ Sauce and bake or grill an additional 10-15 minutes until the internal temperature is 165.
