Yep! Shake Cajun Shrimp Tacos

Kudos to our friend Morgan Blake at Homemade by Morgan for these gorgeous shrimp tacos blackened with our Yep! Shake Cajun Seasoning!

Serves: 3-4


INGREDIENTS:

Shrimp Ingredients:

Spicy Slaw Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Fresh Shredded Green Cabbage
  • 1/2 Cup Sour Cream
  • Juice of a Lime
  • 1/2 Cup Freshly Chopped Cilantro
  • Fresh Jalapeno (add as much as you like!)

Remaining Ingredients:

  • Flour or Corn Tortillas
  • Garnishes can include: Fresh Cilantro, Fresh Jalapeno, Fresh Lime, Avocado, Cotija Cheese

HOW TO MAKE THE MAGIC HAPPEN:

In a bowl, season shrimp with Yep! Shake Cajun seasoning. Turn heat to medium and add olive oil to coat the entire pan. You may want to cook the shrimp in two batches (as not to overcrowd), depending on the size of your pan!

Cook shrimp until the thickest part of the shrimp is opaque (about 3 minutes on each size depending on size of shrimp). Set aside. 

How to build the Taco: Place a dollop of smashed avocado on the base of the tortilla. Add Cabbage Slaw mixture, then top with your Yep! Cajun shrimp! Add remaining garnishes to your liking! Enjoy!
